Jazz in Valle

Our territory, already starting from the post-World War II period, has had significant connections with jazz; and when we speak of "territory," we are trying to encompass this area between the French Riviera and Sanremo. In 1948, the first edition of the Festival du Jazz in Nice took place (later resumed, starting from 1972, by the "Grande Parade du jazz" in Nice), in 1956, it was the turn of the "International Jazz Festival" in Sanremo, and in 1960, "Jazz à Juan" was born; events where the most important artists in the world of this musical genre have performed.

The genesis of this relationship between the territory and jazz, therefore, goes back a long way and has produced over the years remarkable festivals - both big and small - of the highest level.

This is the reason that convinced us to propose a jazz festival in Vallebona, which is also an event of cultural entertainment: music, images, photographs, narration.
